The couple is now showing off their baby happiness on social media – but not everyone is happy.
“So selfish” and “it’s all for social media,” the criticism reads.
Cheryl McCain, 63, is expecting a baby with her 37-year-younger husband Quran McCain, 26. Cheryl is already a mother of seven and also a grandmother of 17 grandchildren, but wanted to have a child together with her younger husband.
The couple met at a gas station where Cheryl worked at the cash register.
“It took a while for things to develop. After we had s€x for the first time, he admitted that he was a virgin,” Cheryl told the Daily Star.
“I was shocked but he said he had been waiting for the right person, which made me feel very special.
Cheryl and Quran then got married and after the wedding, the couple quickly began discussing starting a family. Which the couple has received a lot of criticism for. Among other things, it is discussed that Cheryl’s lifespan may not be enough to see her child grow up.
Used surrogacy to have children
The couple used a surrogate to expand their family, which made the process a little more complicated. In addition, they had trouble finding the right person for them. Cheryl says that some of the volunteers just wanted money.
Despite much criticism, Cheryl has no doubts about her ability to be a good mother, based on her experience raising seven children in the past.
Many are unhappy with the decision – including Cheryl’s other children.
While Cheryl and Quran are excited to welcome their baby shortly after Christmas, not everyone has shared their joy. Six of Cheryl’s seven children refuse to talk to her.
The couple and have shared their journey on both Instagram and Tiktok. In addition, Quran also runs an OnlyFans page. Which has resulted in a lot of negative comments.
“The baby deserves a mother who will be around for life, so selfish,” one user wrote on Cheryl’s Instagram.
“Of course you don’t care, it’s all for social media,” writes another.
At the same time, they also receive lots of good wishes and Cheryl, whose mother Slevde to over 100, responds to the criticism:
